The Bills are the worst football team in the history of time and space. Right?
I spent the afternoon practicing my viola while keeping one eye on the muted football game. At some point in the fourth period quarter I realized that for some time I had been sitting in front of the muted television, not practicing, my viola in my lap, with my mouth literally agape. That football was so bad that it was captivating, and then eventually hilarious.

Fourth period? Haha. I believe you mean quarter.
Oy. Yes, of course I mean quarter! Embarrassing slip up, but I’ll leave it for posterity, and for proof of my hardcore football fandom. :P

The Oakland Raiders would like a shot at disputing that. As would the Lions.

It looked like the Browns were trying hard to make a case for themselves, too.
I have given up the Bills after just four games in Buffalo… If I stop watching they have a chance to win, right? The only game they won I was in Philadelphia… coincidence?
The Bills have killed football for me. It started sometime during the 3rd of the NO game; something snapped and I just said “Screw you guys, I’m over this.” Then I had a full-blown hissy fit an hour later upon discovering that the last Sabres preseason game was not televised, after I’d convinced myself it was. The suckiest part is that I spent all of training camp and the preseason ridiculously excited and rationalizing every thing Trent Edwards did (if only the media and fans stopped saying mean things about him he’d get over his neuroses and be a good QB again!!! …so much for that.). And now, just… nothing. I’ll still watch, but now I just Do. Not. Care. I hate them for making me so inexorably apathetic.
Now the Sabres get a double dose of my sportslove. You guys won’t let me down, right?

Wait. There’s still a team called the Browns? Huh. The things you learn on this blog…
