Apparently, the Sabres play a game in a half hour. This sucks a little bit for me, because I’m about to head downtown to rehearse The Nutcracker all day. (In the music biz we say, “It’s time to crack some nuts” at this time of year.)
Anyhooch, I’ll be catching this game in little bits and pieces which almost doesn’t bother me because if those guys lose again……yikes.

Could be worse. I’m in the middle of two solid weeks of Hansel & Gretel. And the woman playing the witch really does NOT need to be wearing makeup. Frightening.

What nice sweaters those children are wearing! We are doing SIX (6!)crackers this week and some poor fools have to do four more next week. I’ve never been so happy to be assigned to the Messiah in my life.
Dammit, Court, I was SO close to getting the Messiah assignment three years in a row, but personnel noticed my run of good luck, and now I’m playing a Scandinavian Xmas pops show all week instead…
