A Groggy Thought

If Goose makes it onto the Olympic team, I say we officially change the “U-S-A!” chant to, “U-S-HONK!  U-S-HONK!  U-S-HONK!”

Wouldn’t that be cute?  I hope he makes it.

He’s really the best choice for their 4th line center. HONK!

    U-S-HONK! is really quite catchy.

Amy, my first instinct was “HONK-S-A! HONK-S-A!” but the think “U-S-HONK!” has a better ring to it.

    U-S-HONK! U-S-HONK!!! I love it.

If we don’t get Goose, we can always fall back on CRUN-CHY! CRUN-CHY!!! But I really hope he makes it.

Team USA is going to need to win some important faceoffs when they compete against the likes of Russia, Canada, and Sweden…here’s to hoping Goose is on the roster.

Goose ought to make it – he’s the perfect kind of Burke player and is perfect for the squad.

    Also, U-S-HONK!

You know now that Goose is gonna score twice, not lose a faceoff, and kick the crap out of Boulton because of his snub, right? :D

I’m going to take this as a cosmic dodged bullet. Maybe if he playing in the Olympics he would have gotten hurt and wouldn’t have been able to partake in the upcoming glorious playoff run. Crisis averted, if you ask me.

    I still like U-S-Honk, though!

Carla, I think that is an EXCELLENT point. I like how you think!
