Patrick Lalime Is a Hero

That was a great game even if it was heartbreaking in the end.  By the end of the game I really, really, really wanted them to win for Lalime.  He was excellent tonight.  The poor dude has the flu!  He deserved a win.

Get well soon, Thomas Vanek.  We need goals.  Badly.

So glad you felt the same way. I say great game, great effort, good job by Lalime, sorry we lost, but glad we got a point. Probably first time a loss felt so good.

Kate, I was there and it was a great game. Lalime was awesome and I really was sad that they couldn’t pull out a win for him.

Yes it would have been great to get the win and the 2 points from that. But at least with 1 point we stayed tied withe the Canes for the eighth spot for the playoffs.

The next game, Saturday, against the Isles is a MUST win as two points are needed to at least have spot number 8 all to ourselves. After that it’s time to climb.

The Playoff Push is now on and if we don’t want to be sitting at home watching some other teams’ fans celebrating, the time is NOW for management to step up and prove that this team is not a flash in the pan that dashes the hopes of fans watching early Summer Sabre hockey.
