There is a certain sense of preposterous glee in this situation.  I felt it last year, and I’m feeling it again lately.  I long ago gave up any expectation that the Sabres would make the postseason, and so now every day that we’re not eliminated feels like a funny little gift.

Ryan Miller gets a gold star for punching Ovechkin in the face (good for you, Crunchy), and the entire team gets a gold star for forcing the Caps to celebrate their division win with a home ice OT loss.  Heh.

We’re still in it, baby.  Sure, our chances are slim, but my good mood remains plump and totally squeezable.

Let’s Go Buff-a-lo!  (I have it on good authority that the Devils are done.  Go get ’em, fellas.)

:^:::::::::::::::::::::: If the Sabres need a game plan for winning tonight, may I suggest that they just show up? They don’t need to worry about anything else — the Devils will make sure they win.

What Pookie said. Seriously. Go Sabres! Make this playoffs thing happen!

Rags lost to the Bruins earlier today.

Sabres win and they’re two points out.

I think your “good authority” was bluffing.

At least the Bandits are winning 9-6 at the half

How come whenever the Sabres have the best chance for making up ground they cant get the job done?
