The Lady Doth Protest Too Much

Here is one of those Ryan Miller quotes that just makes me laugh and laugh and laugh…

On goalie interference and the Scott Gomez incident:

The collision tactic may be annoying, but Miller says he doesn’t let it get to him, either.

“I’m not going to snap and lose it,” he said. “It can be a fine line, but I don’t think anybody’s trying to hurt me. They’re just trying to gain an advantage in the game. I don’t take it too personally. I don’t get too mad about it.

“I don’t have Scott Gomez’s picture up at my house, staring at it while I eat dinner, working up enough psychotic energy to go slash him in the throat. That’s not the case.”

Seriously, Crunchy.  No one is buying it.

BahahHAHHAaaahaa. I also don’t have your picture up in my house and hug it before bed, Katebits. Totally. I don’t. I swear.

Now watch Gomez and Crunchy end up as roommates in the Olympic Village.

AAAAAAAAAHAHAHA. And I can tell by your vehement protests that you are telling the truth, Frisbee.

Amy, I really hope for Gomez’ sake that that does not happen.

Scott Gomez should be very worried for the next month and a half. (How are we not playing Montreal until December, btw?)

I have that picture of Scott Gomez at my house!

He just gave his secret away to us.

Ahahahahahahah, yeah, sure Ryan. Because only a psychopath would think of something like that, right?

And he definetly doesn’t stare at the picture in the shower either. No way. Negative.

“slash him in the throat” wow how fine is that line crunchy?

  10. 10 Katebits October 19, 2009 at 6:48 pm

    I know, lakeban79. It’s disturbingly specific, isn’t it?

Katebits, that picture you have of Crunchy now kind of looks like someone who’s protecting himself from the blood that would be gushing from Gomez’s carotid artery.

  12. 12 Gambler October 19, 2009 at 10:49 pm

I know, mcguffers, he suddenly seems all American Psycho-y doesn’t he? Hey, Gomez, do you like Huey Lewis and the News?

  13. 13 mcguffers October 19, 2009 at 11:16 pm

Gambler, I can just see Crunchy crouched in his home office on the phone going “Goose, you’re my closest friend on the team so I think I should tell you. I’ve killed a lot of people! There was Gomez, Lapierre, two Islanders forwards, some girl in SoHo, a college student in Jim’s Steakout, the cashier at Wegmans… there’s more I think. I ate someone’s brain. I don’t think I’m gonna get away with it this time.” All while Sussudio plays in the background.

I thought he could just incinerate people with his death glare?

  15. 15 Kathleen October 21, 2009 at 12:27 am

Ah, that’s the real plan. The slashing quip was just to distract us.
