During the game I saw the following people throw serious body checks at Charbacca:

Roy, Pommers, Vanek (wrestling counts), Mair, Kaleta, Connelly, Ellis(!), Ennis(!), Grier, Kennedy, Torres, Lydman, Montador, Rivet, Sekera and Tallinder.

In fact the only people I didn’t see throw a serious check at him, although I probably just blinked, were Goose and Myers. Think these guys figured out that 25 minutes of pain can wear a guy down over a series?

Matt, Pommerdoodle hitting Charbacca really took the cake. I actually had a weird little meltdown where I suddenly could not absorb the rest of the game because I was too busy saying, “Did Jas…son…Pominville….just hit….Chara?”

When it happened I couldn’t decide if it was a hit or if Pommers had just decided to become a pinball. Turns out, it was a hit!
