Happy New Year! (In a Good Way)

Well, this is turning into quite an exciting few days.

Last night I met Crunchy and Staffy at the concert, and tomorrow I’m going to the Ice Bowl! I can’t quite find the right angle for blogging about encountering the real-life Sabres, so I’ll just say this: both of them were incredibly nice, patient, and generous about dealing with the orchestra members. I was able to meet and get pictures with both of them and it was an extremely fun evening. I can highly recommend having the Sabres come to your workplace. (I seriously wanted to offer Ryan Miller half of my BFF locket, and Drew Stafford is a very compelling little zombie. Heh.)

And tomorrow is the Ice Bowl! I was already pretty much spazzing with excitement, but then I read this post on The Ultimate Sports Roadtrip, and now I’m not sure I’ll be able to sleep tonight (yet another reason why going to the Ice Bowl sucks).

Pooooommmmmerrrrrrdooooodlllling!

I clicked on the link for the Great Sports Trip thingie, and I’m concerned. Crunchy seems to have misspelled his promotional hat. It says, “Shoptherefinery.com” not “shopthehipsteremporium.com”. No one will be able to find his store if his spells the URL wrong!

Pookie, I’m so glad you figured out what Crunchy’s hat says! I looked at that picture for such a long time and I could not figure it out. I’m so stoopid. (But you’re right. Crunchy seems to have forgotten the name of his Big 10 house of fashion. I’m pretty sure that making up hats with the wrong web address is NOT a part of a good business plan, Crunchy.)

I’m surprised Crunchy hasn’t gotten a talking too about the hat. Wasn’t there some sort of ruckus last year about Briere, I think, wearing a hat that wasn’t from an NHL approved sponsor?

I do think its cool that all the players have the Steadfast Foundation logo on their toques.

Crunchy is NOT being the best possible entrepreneur he can possibly be. I’m extremely disappointed, and as a result, will not be shopping The Refinery. Dot com.

I tried to get a ,but it keeps comming up with an error message!
But 40 bucks is a little steep for a hat,for me anyway.
Congrats on playing the concert! I’m so happy for you!
    And we are expecting pictures.
